Palazzo Campofranco is a late 19th-century residence that houses the historic Parlato Company. The Parlato family has always devoted attention to this building of rare beauty, with frescoed ceilings and Murano glass chandeliers with a floral theme among metal and wooden shelves, creating an environment more similar to a museum than a shop.
In 2017, the Parlato family entrusted Escooh with the installation of a connecting staircase between the ground floor, the terrace, and the first floor. The architect chosen by the client was Tomaso Garigliano, who designed a rectangular modular staircase to fit into a space measuring 1980x2120 cm. A landing with dimensions of 39x49 cm was included between the first and second flights to provide access to the terrace. The staircase has a structure composed of painted natural black iron profile bars with a square section of 25x25 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. Each step is supported by a hidden 20x5 mm flat iron milled to the same dimensions as the tread. The structure is anchored to the masonry with 1-meter-high 5mm iron plates. The steps and risers are covered in natural finish plywood.
